  An official from Cyber Crime Wing of Hyderabad said LeT operative Mohammed Ibrahim (24) of Gulshan Iqbal Colony in the Old City, who was arrested by the Task Force Police in August last, used to interact with his handlers through email and chat with them over the Internet. Another LeT operative Shami Ahmed Shah alias Abdul Rehman, who was arrested in Gulbarga in March this year for allegedy planning to blow-up the Nagarjunasagar dam, is said to have used cyber cafes at Narayanguda and Vijayanagar Colony near to communicate with his associates across the border. 8th August 2006 - The Hindu

26/11 Mumbai Terror Attack Email sent from a Cyber Cafe – Rajkot

  The Crime Branch here has launched a manhunt for the sender of an e-mail in September 2008, two months before terror struck Mumbai, specifically threatening attacks on Mumbai’s CST railway station and Churchgate. Trailing the IP address, the cops zeroed in on Dream Cyber Cafe in Tagore Road. The mail was sent to a Hindi TV channel, in the name of Al Mujahideen. Email threatens to blow up BSE and NSE – Mumbai

Security was beefed up at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Monday after an email threatened to blow them up. A police team from the Cyber Cell of the Mumbai police traced the email to a cyber cafe in Lucknow.   Police have claimed to have identified the cyber cafe from which the email, purportedly sent by Indian Mujahideen terrorist, to eliminate BJP leader L K Advani during his Shillong visit on September 29, was sent. A hoax mail threat received by news channels on Tuesday said key installations across the city and the prestigious Salt Lake area would be bombed at 10 p.m. The owner of a cyber cafe in Salt Lake from where the mail was believed to have been sent was picked up and remanded to 14-day police custody. Conspiracy to trigger blasts in TN hatched in prison – Chennai

  A "threatening" e-mail was allegedly sent to the official website of the Police department by an "anonymous" person on Sunday night. Cyber Crime police tracked down the origin of the e-mail to an internet browsing centre at Pondy Bazaar. Since the register of net users was not properly maintained, police could not identify the suspect who sent the mail.

  The Senior Superintendent of Noida Police has received an anonymous e-mail threatening to carry out terrorist strikes at vital installations in the Capital. The mail, which was also sent to a Hindi television news channel, has been traced to Saroj Cyber Cafe, Vikas Marg - East Delhi.
